Africa is the Land of Shem: Beth-El and Ai on the Westside

Welcome to BibleStudyMinistry.com, your online Bible Study Supplement Source. This series is titled Africa is the Land of Shem; the title is based on the scripture found in Genesis chapter 9, verse 27. It states that Japheth or Yafet will be enlarged and dwell in the tents or lands of Shem. The lands given to Shem after the flood was the entire continent called Africa today. Hence the name of this project, Africa the Land of Shem. We skipped ahead to the days of Abram in the previous post, and now we’re in the writings of Joshua. Yes, we understand this information can be a lot to take in if you are new, but praise the Almighty if He has led you to this revelation, as He did with us, because the time is near.

Paul or another author wrote to the Hebrews or Bantus that when the time they should to be teachers, they have need that one teach them again with the first principles of the oracles of the Creator. The Bantus in that day and today became and have become like those who have need of milk, and not strong meat.

13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

Anyone still teaching modern-day Christianity and entry-level Bible lessons is using milk and is not skillful in the Word of Righteousness. This is the case because they are babies. No offense to anyone, but sometimes offenses are truths aimed to wake up a soul. However, strong meat belongs to those who are of full age, who have their senses exercised enough to discern both good and evil (Hebrew 5:12-14). So with that…

Try to Understand This!

We concluded the previous post stating: The remainder of the book of Genesis took place on the African continent. Abram and his son, Isaaka, and his son Akobe were all born on the African continent. Their children were born on the African continent. They turned into a nation on the African continent in Egypt. And they left Egypt and returned to the same land promised to them through Abram. Abram was promised the land of Canaan by his Creator! This land was and is sub-Saharan Africa as far west as Senegal-The Gambia, as east as Ethiopia-Djibouti, and south as far as South Africa’s Capes.

If you understand this, then, what land would the servant of the Great Creator, Joshua, be when he removed the Canaanites?

Did I hear you say sub-Saharan Africa?

Watch this!

Joshua 8:9

Joshua therefore sent them forth: and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between Beth-el and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but Joshua lodged that night among the people.

Genesis 12:8

And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Beth-el, and pitched his tent, having Beth-el on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the Great Spirit, and called upon the name of the Great Spirit.

Genesis 13:3

And he went on his journeys from the south even to Beth-el, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Beth-el and Hai;

Bethel and Ai or Hai are the same in Abram’s generation as far Joshua. This is the same place, south of Egypt!

Joshua 8:30

Then Joshua built an altar unto the Great Spirit God of Akobe in mount Ebal,

Mount Ebal is in the vicinity of Bethel and Ai, Southern Africa!

Joshua and the children of Akobe made war with all of the Canaanite families in the south, removing as many as they could from the land. They also warred with many other families from Mizraim, Phut, Kush, and some from the families of Shem. They are all listed in Joshua, chapter 12. Keep in mind, all of this took place on the continent we call Africa today.

Joshua 13:1

Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the Great Spirit said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.

As Joshua got older, the Almighty told him that they’re still a lot of land to be taken possession of. Let’s think about all those wars and people that the children of Akobe fought against in Joshua, chapter 12. If we are making reference to the modern-day land of Israel in the Levant, and there is still more land to be possessed, the land must have elevators and floors. However, with a greater understanding that Abram went south upon leaving Egypt and that the entire continent of Africa was given to him, it makes reasonable sense why and how Joshua and the children of Akobe had so much land to possess even after all the wars and battles in chapter 12.

Joshua 13:2

This is the land that yet remaineth: all the borders of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,

Including …

Joshua 13:3

From Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanite: five lords of the Philistines; the Gazathites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites:

Also…

Joshua 13:4-6 KJV

From the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that is beside the Sidonians, unto Aphek, to the borders of the Amorites: [5] And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal-gad under mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath. [6] All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-maim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

Joshua 13:7-8 KJV

Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh, [8] With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the Great Spirit gave them;

Reubenites, Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasse decided to stay on the eastern side of the Nile river which on the southern side, would be the Jordan near the Orange river in South Africa. The rest of the tribes would take all the land westward as far west to the Atlantic ocean and as far north as Senegal-Gambia.

This is what we mean as far north as the Senegal to Cameroon areas:

Joshua 13:27 KJV

And in the valley, Beth-aram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward.

Beth-Aram is the house of Aram. Aram lived in Niger, Nigeria, and Cameroon!

Joshua 14:1 KJV

And these are the countries which the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance to them.

Try and understand his conversation between the forefather Caleb from the tribe of Juda, and the forefather Joshua from the tribe of Efraim.

Joshua 14:6-15 KJV

Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the Great Spirit said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadesh-barnea. [7] Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the Great Spirit sent me from Kadesh-barnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart.

[8] Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the Great Spirit my God. [9] And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the Great Spirit my God.

[10] And now, behold, the Great Spirit hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the Great Spirit spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. [11] As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.

[12] Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the Great Spirit spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the Great Spirit will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the Great Spirit said. [13] And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance.

[14] Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the Great Spirit God of Israel. [15] And the name of Hebron before was Kirjath-arba; which Arba was a great man among the Anakims. And the land had rest from war.
